The Mystic 5 continues the legendary Mystic lineup while opening a new chapter in its evolution. Only the core geometric parameters — aspect ratio and number of cells — remain from its predecessor. The entire construction has been completely reimagined and redesigned.

Mystic 5 is the first certified two-liner paraglider in the Sky Country range. After several years of development and fine-tuning, we are proud to say the result truly meets our expectations.

We spent several years designing and tuning this wing. The first prototypes were 2.5-row. But as soon as certification regulations changed, we put the 2.5-row wings aside and started over with a two-row design. We had to make a total of eight prototypes, and we're completely satisfied with the last one.

Prototype testing took place in Ölüdeniz, Lithuania, and Ukraine, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of flying conditions.

Key Design Features:

• Air Scoop — a proven classic intake system that enhances wing stability against collapses across a wide range of angles of attack
• Nitinol reinforcements in the leading edge — an innovative solution providing better profile support, reduced weight, and improved resistance to deformation during storage
• Two-line configuration — reduces total line length (from 244 m to 218 m in size M), lowering drag
• 12 mm Kevlar risers (Cousin) — equipped with ergonomic handles for efficient rear-riser control
• Unsheathed Edelrid A8000U lines — used on all levels for maximum performance and weight reduction
• Optimized canopy materials (NCV Skytex):
  – lower surface — 27 g/m²
  – upper surface — 32 g/m²
  – leading edge — 38 g/m²
  

Flight Performance & Certification

Test results confirm the high reliability of the Mystic 5:

• Majority of ratings: A and B
• C rating for brake travel and the use of folding lines during leading-edge collapse maneuvers

At the same time, the wing retains excellent ability to stay aloft in weak thermals, while significantly improving glide performance at higher speeds.
