The choice of professionals
This wing was created by professionals for professionals. The paraglider has high aerodynamic characteristics, it has a simple start and a good “intuitive” landing.
Classic design
In many aspects, the design of Escalar is similar to the design of its predecessors – Escort-1 and 2.
A serious difference is a new aerodynamic profile with the Air-scoop system. This increases the working range of attack angles and improves the wing behavior in turbulent air. The leading edge is traditionally supported by nylon rods, and controls have a system shortening trailing edge, when you apply brakes – it decreases brake pressure. Risers are equipped with a trimmer to expand the speed range of the glider.
We use only high quality materials of European manufacturers for the production of the wing. These are Skytex fabrics from the French manufacturer NCV Porcher Sport and lines from the German company Liros.
Certification
Escalar is certified in two EN and LTF security systems and corresponds to the class B – on closed and released trimmers.
